So Dennis and Trixie had a good chase around the back yard yesterday, with Tucker getting into the act a little. NOTE: Make sure you have the sound turned up for this one. There’s a big thud partway through that you have to hear to appreciate.
Whoa!!!! What happened there at 10 seconds? Let’s go to Johnny in the instant replay booth for the lowdown!
Here at about 9.5 seconds, we have Dennis running away from Trixie, who is off-screen to the left.

Tucker enters the field, most likely intending to bark at Trixie and Dennis as they go by. Unfortunately Tucker is not paying very close attention to Dennis’s trajectory.

“Tower, a smaller craft has entered my airspace, requesting permission to increase altitude, over.”

Dennis attempts a flying leap over Tucker but is only partly successful. However, Tucker does provide a fine platform for extra distance. (Dennis is not the only one who makes this discovery today.)

At this point Dennis is now pretty well airborne, while Tucker is getting knocked off to the right. Dear me, what’s that black object entering the frame at high velocity from the lower left?

Dennis is still airborne, Tucker doesn’t know what the heck just ran over him, and Trixie is so intent on her flying brother that she isn’t paying any attention to the one on the ground. This can’t possibly end well …

Dennis is still airborne, while Tucker is wishing he had stayed on the couch and has no clue that there’s a black and tan locomotive steaming right toward him.

Dennis is STILL airborne, but starting to look back to see what sort of wreckage he’s left behind him. Meanwhile, Tucker is giving Trixie a big broadside target. Those with weak constitutions, avert your eyes now …

OH, that’s gonna leave a mark! Dennis, meanwhile, is STILL airborne, but is starting to think about maybe landing some time soon.

Trixie also discovers that she can get more hang time if she uses Tucker as a springboard; Dennis is on the ground and preparing to execute a bootleg that would make the General Lee proud. Tucker wonders why he even got out of bed this morning.

Tucker is trying to write down the license plate of those two trucks. Meanwhile, Dennis is doing his donkey impersonation (check the ears), while Trixie comes in for a landing and keeps charging at him.

No dogs were harmed in the making of this film. Except for Tucker.
No, no, he’s fine, although in the future he’ll probably think twice before getting in front of his brother and sister when they’re placing chase. One can only wonder, though, what sort of revenge he’s cooking up in that little vizsla brain of his …

Forgot to mention: Dennis looks like a hover dog
I love frame number 34. Kind of like a ballet move or something.

Sorry, me again. Mom’s tired because she just got off of work and keeps forgetting to type everything I asked her to all at once.
I have a surprise for you on my blog

Hahahaha! I wish I could’ve been there in person to see this. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog use another as a spring board!
